Love this. It’s been a great insight hearing these demos, particularly given the time since you wrote them. I particularly like the country feel of the guitar 🎸 on this one, and it’s feistiness reminds me a bit of ‘Going Gone’ ❤️
From the moment you mentioned "Marry Myself" as a potential option for this series I was excited to hear it. It's so funny that when I was around 17 the thought of having to eventually marry myself occurred to me as well and probably for the same reasons. Sure would've been nice to have had this song back then. You are so much the sort of artist I've been imagining and wanting to hear since those days long ago, and now that you're finally here, I can safely say it's been worth the wait. Thank you so much for existing! Oh, and I love the Johnny Cash-esque Jade Bird flipping the bird pic! Peace & Love & Artists Like You Don't Come Around Every Day, Always!
Well, this definitely has the "I've got something to say and _you're_ gonna listen" vibe. The intro riff was sticky enough. The ramble at 1:10 is way cool, which I've hear you use similar elsewhere, but you clearly have a skill for diction when you want to keep yourself clear enough. Personally, I think you should bring it in more often. The demo is fast tempo such that it's tough to get a good overall on it, but I can imagine this groove really coming to life with some bass and percussion, worth dragging it out again later on.
Throw in one obnoxious drummer, add guitarist with a couple of valve-tops, and stir in a bassist with an inferiority complex and I think you're there... very nice!
Well, jade said it was full of 'sass' and this track has plenty. These demo tracks have all been good, thanks for sharing. 🙂

Really love the song! It puts a smile on my face 😁
😇
Great guitar work, I love how energetic it sounds! It’s really cool that you write songs that empathise with you and encourage you. I want to try too!
