But I really am ‘on the road again,’ just my acoustic guitar and I. We arrived in Houston last night and I was more nervous than I have been in a very long time. It reminded me of when I was a kid (11 or 12) I couldn’t play in bars, so I’d have to enter these ‘songwriter competitions’.. open mic something or other.. I’d rock up on stage, acoustic too big for me (thankyou Taylor for amending that,) and sing my little heart out. The feedback, let’s just say, I never won ha!
Well I went on a tangent, as I did at my first Texas show. I’ve found myself feeling so incredibly free, like I opened up a little with the details of my life and breakup and the rest has been flooding out. My laugh seems to have gotten louder, (impossible I know!) my smile bigger and I’m more connected to my songs because, I’m more connected to myself.
I promised you demos, I’ll release one this week, it’s from the Songbook.
‘I’ve been to Reno, Chicago, Fargo, Buffalo, Minnesota’ but I haven’t been everywhere, there’s still these dates left!

04/19 Charlotte (sold out I think..)

*The rest is on all my pages and such, I really have to go to sleep now! *
Sending you love.

That smile when you sounded great on that Taylor during Lottery,And the sigh of relief when you belted out that line in Save your tears for me,So perfect.
Great show last night in Denver. Seemed like you were having a blast. Really enjoyed hearing several songs I had not heard live before and you sharing a bit more about how they came about.
